At the core of Soaring Ceremonies is a real love story — ours. We’ve been happily married since 2007, and together, we’ve built a life rooted in faith, family, public service, and the deep belief that love deserves to be celebrated with care and dignity.
We are both licensed Ontario wedding officiants with a passion for helping couples start their journey with confidence and meaning. Whether it’s a simple legal signing or a full custom celebration, our work is guided by our shared philosophy:

About Monica
Monica Singh Soares is a double-degree holder, ordained minister, and elected Councillor with extensive training in leadership, adult education, and community service. She has officiated hundreds of weddings across Ontario and is known for her compassion, clarity, and culturally inclusive approach.
About Joey
Joey Soares is a proud husband, father, and licensed professional with a strong background in public engagement and client care. He brings calm, warmth, and excellence to every ceremony he leads or supports.
Together, we are more than officiants.
